Why Over 40, Why Me, and Why Now?
I took my photography business full-time after turning 55, and I wanted to create something about women in the second half of their lives. I know how empowering it can be to see yourself in photographs and I wanted to give this very special gift to all women to enjoy.
From 2020 through 2023, I photographed 190 women over 50. It was such a magical and transformative experience for all involved that I decided to do it again in 2024 for women 40 and over!

Who Can Participate?
All women 40 and over are invited. I have photographed a wide variety of women of different shapes and sizes; women with different tastes, from different backgrounds, and with different views of life.
The Jana Marcus Photography experience is an exciting, pampering, indulgent adventure, custom tailored and focused on YOU!
My passion is to take the every-day woman and give her an unforgettable magazine-style photoshoot experience.

Pre-Shoot Consultation to design a session just for YOU! We'll plan how you want to be photographed, what outfits you would like to wear, etc.

Professional Hair & Makeup.
Camera-ready custom make-up application and hairstyling by our professional on site make-up artist - you will feel amazing! -
Fully guided photo session with up to 3 wardrobe changes.

Portrait Reveal and Ordering Session where you can view all your beautiful images from our session and choose which images and products you would like to purchase.

Additional image credit ($500 value) included when you purchase a Portrait Collection (Collectons of 6 or more start at $2000). Retouching services included.

Featured in our annual magazine and exhibit-style celebration to take place when all 40 women have been photographed.

2-HOUR PHOTO SHOOT
You will enjoy a fully, expertly guided photoshoot.
Not feeling photogenic? Nonsense! It is not your job to be. I've got you! It is my job to connect and make you comfortable, to show you in your best light with flattering posing. Get ready to rock this!

REVEAL/ORDERING SESSION
About a week after your session we will review the best images from your shoot in person or via a video meeting online.
If you purchase a portrait collection you will receive an additional complimentary image ($500 value).

Your image and thoughts will be showcased so we can

You will be asked to share your thoughts about being a woman over 40. This may include a video interview or answering a written questionnaire about your thoughts on aging.

Shared on my website and social media for studio promotional purposes.

You will be asked to sign a model release for your images to be used.
