"Inside, in your heart and soul, that part does not age. The most important thing you can accomplish in your life is to love others, unselfish, unconditional love. Isn't this what we all want - to be loved unconditionally?"

What is the best thing about being your age?
Here is a quote: “Wisdom is the reward for surviving our own stupidity.” It makes me laugh, it's just so true. Life is a whole series of mistakes, learn from them and forgive yourself. It can take a lifetime to understand the full truth about something, and that is OK.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?
The privilege of being a mother to my 5 children. They are my greatest achievement.

What is your most treasured possession?
My life! So many people and objects I treasure. Objects because of the people they represent.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Being in the moment without any distractions. Could be puttering in the garden, painting, watching or holding grandchildren. Going on a road trip.

What is a trait you are most proud of?
My artistic ability.

What is your greatest fear?
To be rejected.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
To have COURAGE.

What is your greatest extravagance?
I live such a blessed life, everything has been an extravagance.

What do you most value in your friends?
Patience & Love. Not turning their back on me, even when I am not at my best.

What advice would you give your younger self?
To not be looking for affirmation of my self worth from other people.
Listen to your heart & soul, you have all the power you need to determine your future - do not be afraid.
Your own family – especially parents – are the people that love you unconditionally. Just know it and be grateful.

What is your motto or favorite quote?
“Never say goodbye because goodbye means going away and going away means forgetting.”
– J.M.Barrie, Peter Pan

The quote above leads me into what I have on my heart…My Eternal Hope is for us all to be reunited with the ones we love and who love us. With our hearts made whole as God intended and to see each other how God sees us - our true selves. “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” John 15:12.
