age: 50  profession:  Somatic Therapist, Priestess, Founder of 'Her Holy Temple' Mystery School.

What is the best thing about being your age?

A deepening relationship with God.  Amazing relationships with women.  No longer affected by primitive sexual distractions with Alpha Males types. : ).
SO liberating!!!  Absolute Sacred Devotion with my Husband and family in the truest, sweetest, most fulfilling way.

What hardships have you endured that you feel have made you stronger?

Unexpected death of loved ones, mental illness in loved ones, deep betrayal, illness, failed business ventures, and more are some of the universal hardships that we all must endure at one point or another.  I truly believe that each of us is given what we can handle, and the more we can surrender and trust in the ultimate goodness of life, we can eventually allow our hardships to be a pruning for our soul.  As we integrate the lessons and pain we will inevitably face in life, our life becomes an alchemical process of turning the Lead of Personality into the Pure Gold of our Illumined Soul.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?
My marriage and my children. My husband and I have achieved a true sacred marriage (with tremendous personal work), have been together over 23 years and are genuinely close with our incredible two sons.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Sharing life with my family, feeling fulfilled with my work in the world and watching my sons grow into men. A world of peace, justice, equality, love, health and joy for all.

What is your most treasured possession?
A holy icon painting of the Blessed Mother Mary holding the Baby Christ, from a Monastery in Russia.  It is done with exquisite beauty in all golds and brilliant diamond white.  It was given to me by a client after in-depth private work which resulted in a powerful spontaneous exorcism, where I had a true mystical experience with Christ and Archangel Michael.  The painting reminds me of one of the most transformational events of my Life.  It also represents the profound healing I have had around previous religious trauma.

What's your favorite thing you have checked off your bucket list?

Home births and facilitating "Relationship as Spiritual Practice" retreats with my husband at Tara Mandala Retreat Center.

What is your greatest extravagance?

Essential oils.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

Better time management.

What is a trait you are most proud of?

Generous heart.

What is your greatest fear?

Environmental Destruction.

What do you most value in your friends?

Light-heardness and depth, honesty, vulnerability, and ease.

What advice would you give your younger self?
Develop strong, authentic relationships with elders – family, professors, mentors, bosses.  Cherish these special relationships, they will provide great wisdom, gentle companionship, and builds a bridge between generations.

Have more fun!!! Love your body, care for it, enjoy it, and develop an enjoyable dedicated daily physical practice.  Don't be afraid to try new things! Get that major in Religious Studies while you have the chance to study with the world's most respected Theologian.  Follow that courageous wild heart!
Travel. Love deeply.  Honor the Sacredness of your Sexuality.

What is your motto or favorite quote?

“We do not grow absolutely, chronologically. We grow sometimes in one dimension, and not in another; unevenly. We grow partially. We are relative. We are mature in one realm, childish in another. The past, present, and future mingle and pull us backward, forward, or fix us in the present. We are made up of layers, cells, constellations.”  - Anais Nin

Advice to younger women....

Remember that we are always evolving, changing.  Be mindful with the hearts of others. Develop great humility.  Be accountable.  Look within.  Do your personal work, and build healthy relationships, let go of drama.  There are seasons to everything.  Enjoy with fullness the beauty and magnetism of your youth, yet remember that it will change.

Build a relationship with all of the aspects of your self; the little girl, your divine inner child, the nubile nymph, the Sacred Prostitute, the Mother, the Bad Ass Bitch Boss, the Lover, the Dreamer and Weaver, the Queen, Enchantress, the Wise Woman and Crone, the Hag...the Priestess.  Release any competition with other women and become that woman who straightens another woman's Crown without anyone ever noticing.  Be that woman.
