profession: Retired professional singer and dancer. Current CEO of Red Cypress Properties. Owning and operating luxury residential property on the central coast. I am also the CMO of Gemini Hive, a boutique investment and consulting company specializing in video games for mobile devices.


What is the best thing about being your age?

The confidence I have moving forward in life using the wisdom of my years paired with the excitement of my future.

What hardships have you endured that you feel have made you stronger?  

Due to my family situation I have supported myself and lived on my own since I was 17. As a result I am confident and self-reliant as well as deeply appreciative of my husband and the family we have built.


What's your favorite thing you have checked off your bucket list?

Professionally: Performing in Sir Andrew Lloyd Weber‘s Broadway production of Starlight Express in New York City.
Personally: Living abroad. I have had the good fortune to live in Germany, England, Japan, and Ukraine. I love experiencing different cultures and languages.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Being creative.  

What is a trait you are most proud of?

My creativity.

What is your most treasured possession?

My relationship with my husband.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

In the early 90s I sang in a girl group called Boy Krazy. We recorded an album and our song  “That’s What Love Can Do”  went to #1 on the Billboard charts. We toured all over the world preforming.

What do you most value in your friends?

Trust and laughter.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? 

I wish I was more patient.

what is your greatest extravagance?

At this point in life I have earned the luxury of putting myself first. My health, my happiness, my needs.

What advice would you give your younger self?

Be a “yes” person and live without fear! The rules of life are not written in stone. Make your own rules, create your own path to success.

What is your motto or favorite quote?

“If you don’t ask, the answer is always no.”

Show up! Whether it’s a job interview, an audition, a date, an important conversation, anything. Showing up is your opportunity to ask for what you want out of life.
