profession: I am a Healthcare Provider and Educator. I have been an RN since 1988, working in specialties ranging from Intensive Cardiac Care early in my career to Community Health/Hospice. I currently work as an Oncology Nurse Navigator, working exclusively with Breast Cancer Patients. I have been a Massage Therapist and Natural Health Counselor since 1997.
What is the best thing about being your age?
I love and appreciate the insight that comes with experience and maturity. Connections feel more multidimensional and fulfilling.
What hardships have you endured that you feel have made you stronger?
I would say the experience of being a patient made me stronger. It helped me understand what the vulnerability of relying on others for help is like and the impact of kindness with deep listening.
What's your favorite thing you have checked off your bucket list?
Ooh! Lots of choices! I would say warm water scuba diving and the experience of deeply loving, while being loved the same way.
What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Good music on a warm night.
What do you most value in your friends?
Humor and wisdom.
what is your greatest extravagance?
Books and Art.
What is your most treasured possession?
Good health (I know, I sound like my Grandma, but it makes so much sense now!).

Being a good friend.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I wouldn’t have Rheumatoid Arthritis.
