What is the best thing about being your age?

I am more at ease with who I am instead of worrying about what I'm not.

What hardships have you endured that you feel have made you stronger?

I have survived several health conditions, starting at age 8. I never expected to live past 35, but here I am.

Going to Sedona for a conference on living your best life.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

I don't worry too much about happiness anymore. Instead, I work for my own serenity and peace of mind.

​What advice would you give your younger self?

Taking care if yourself is not being selfish. Feel the fear and do it anyway.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Having long term sobriety. My career as a nurse.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

Letting fear stand in the way of doing something I want to do.

What is your greatest extravagance?

YARN!

The ability to laugh at myself.

I have to learn from other peoples' mistakes, I don't have time to make them all myself.
